New Year 2009

Is it too late or what? Someone's have been bugging me to update this blog. Come to think of it the last time I blogged was in last year. Wau lama tuuu... Been quite busy with too many paperworks & classes. I've mentioned this before ... the hectic days are here.

Anyway wanted to add to Josh's title Thanks a lot UITM. This was taken on Monday 12 Jan. 2009. It was such a waste of time. I was stuck there like 20 minutes. This is @ the Seksyen 7 entrance.

Enough about the boring stuff. Wanted to share some pics of our family vacation in P.D. last year (not that long actually). On the day of our arrival, there seems to be a pasar malam there. And by night it was sooo congested, a massive traffic jam.

Went to the beach (what else is there?). The kids love the water esp. the boy in the green-orange outfit.

This was taken at the Blue Lagoon beach (Tasik Biru). A very nice & serene place. We set up a small tent for the kids but they are happy playing with the sand. Daddy joined Aiman in the water.

This was taken at Teluk Kemang. The 3 gangs went for a buggy ride. And upon finishing his round, Aiman wanted to go for another.

On the last day of our visit, we went to the Ostrich Farm. Indah khabar dari rupa is more like it. The ostrichs' feathers seems to be falling off their body. The place seems in need of a proper maintenance. The grass were long & the ostriches seem, well .... togel. My sis, the vet, inspecting some of the ostriches.

A miracle happened at the RAMD Museum. Kuatnya org ni, dia boleh angkat kapal terbang. Fuiyooo....

We stayed at a hotel which is famous among Malaysians. The food was very unsatisfactory. On the second day, the food was barely enough for the many guests. And its only 8.00 a.m. Most of the guests were left with the option of eating bread + kaya + butter. And to begin with they have only mee goreng & nasi lemak (which is too hot) in the menu. How come ahh... I think the management of Hotel S.M. should ponder into this matter. They should upgrade their service be it in the room service, checking in of guests, food etc. But not all S.M. hotels are like that. I've been to S.M. hotel in Kuantan twice. The service & food is good (they have a lot more choices for breakfast, including cereals for kids ... which S.M. Port Dickson don't provide).

Yesterday's birthday party

Aiman went to the party reluctantly, but after a while doesn't want to go back. Had some cakes & snacks.

What amazes me was that the two kakak masterminders managed to round up every available kids from the neighbourhood. Our n'hood is a close one (kaw perumahan kecik jer). Everybody knows everybody (plus the kids). So, every Raya we had this gathering where we'll masak2 & mkn sendiri. So, menurun lah pada the kids. Here's the chief mastermind - Kakak Syira [tudung coklat] (busy discussing the events of the day). They even organized a simple telematch!

This is the birthday girl - Kakak Nani with Adik Ulfah.

Aiman & Haris - tengok apa tu? Btw, Aiman is far too big for his toy car (tapi nak jugak keluarkan sbb Haris naik car tu).

Aiman didn't join the others during the telematch. He was busy playing with Haris (berangan jadi leader Haris follow jer)



Will be away for a few days. Won't be updating for a while, but I'm going to take a lot of pics. Have to take a break lah before the havoc days come.

Nothing in particular

Actually there're many things in particular, minor things mind you. First of Josh introduced me to FB. And tak sangka you ... within a few days I got to contact my schoolmates! Aiyooo ... manyak syiokk.

I found this letter few days ago after coming home from work. Aiman got invited by the our neighbourhood girls to a birthday party on 25th Dec. He doesn't wanna go - shy lah, like his mother. But the kakak2 came to me the next day & asked will he come. The kakak2 like him very much but Aiman shy2 cat. Sbb ramai girls.

This part is about last weekend. My cousin's wedding. Not much photos, so busy helping plus malas nak pegang camera. Here's Aiman at the beginning of the event (Sat night). We arranged some nasi lemak & mee jawa for the guests that night. He seems cheerful alright.

And here's Aiman few hours later. Dah tergolek tak larat. Kawan dia pon sama tergolek. And that was only Sat nite. On the big day itself ..... I pun x larat nak taip. Soooo penatttt.

The photos of the t-shirt was Aiman's activity @ the nursery during this school holidays. T-shirt painting. The shirt was provided by the school lucky me. Otherwise I've to find old shirts to be painted on.

We took him to Tasik Shah Alam after coming back from the library today. Have to promise him that, otherwise he doesn't want to get out of the library. At the tasik another story. What can you say when kids got to the playground? Parents out there ....?

In times of our joy & happiness, let's not forget those who are less fortunate. The daughter of a friend is sick. For those who had been in her shoes, you know how worried you are caring for a sick child. Let us pray for her daughter's recovery. Pn. M, tabahkan hati & banyakkan berdoa & bersabar. To adik B .... get well soon baby. We miss you.

Spring cleaning

Haven't had much time to update. And here's the reason why .... Pn. F and I drilled our students to clean up the lab from top to bottom. Boy ... were they a good team of cleaners. At the end of the day, the lab smelled fresh and nice with all the clutters been arranged nicely. Thank you guys ... they looked like a bunch of penyamun wearing that mask don't they.

Here's some pics of our activity. Hari, being the tallest among us (yg lain sumer comei2) cleaned the upper part of the lab. Pity him.

Going to be a wedding this weekend, my cousin's. Will be busy.

Little boy in the rain

It was a very wet Sunday. Didn't go out (although its our anniversary) due to the heavy downpour since morning. And around 3 p.m. the lil boy can't stand being stuck in the house any longer. He banged @ the door to be let out. So daddy put on a rain coat on him and we let him play in the rain (its drizzling by the time).

Asked me to make little sampans (buat sampah je atas rumput tu nanti). Not to forget his trailer.

Bored with the sampans which won't move when its wet, he went to find the drain brush (penyapu parit lah).

Got bored with that thing later, passed it on to daddy.

Nothing much to do on this bleak Sunday.

Btw, went to Pantai Remis, Kuala Selangor on Thursday. The development at the beach is coming up. It might not be the best place to have a dip (it has a large area of mud). Not to mention the sharp pebbles.

But it sure is heaven for cockle finders. You can find some stalls selling fresh cockles (kerang) and ikan kering. We had some kerang bakar for lunch. Yummy ....

There are a few stalls selling kites and souvenirs. I was attracted by the colourful display of kites.

Weekend - Part Two

Hari Raya Aidiladha. Aiman can't seem to wait to go back to "rumah Atok". Busy calling his cousins telling about his day @ PWTC, and the 3 aunties also "sebok" passing around the phone in my parents home. Note the Patrick Starfish watch he begged from me @ KFC. Kenapa ya dia pegang fon cam tu...?

Not much pics of the whole gang as I'm busy helping mom @ the kitchen. Not even pics of the delicacies that we've prepared. Kalau tak boleh show off kat Josh .... asyik letak foto food aje... Aiman ni berangan tgh ketuk drum ke ... or tgh masak nasi goreng. Tak taulah....

Everyone was busy playing with the baby (remember baby botak in earlier entry). My sister brought some tudung. Baby's mom tried it on her.. She looks cute (the baby ha.. not the mommy). Nasib baik Aiman tu boy, kalau tak sure kene eksperimen jugak dgn makcik2 dia tu.

Geng bas sekolah as usual can't stop making noise... Were they loud alright ... My dad always say "Mcm ada 10 org ....". Pening kepala Atok diorang. In fact geng bas sekolah consist of 3 members for the time being (baby not counted).

This one is her sis Damia. Atok called her "chatterbox". Aiman too, gladly called her chatterbox (padahal dia pun sama gak...).

The other gang you knowlah who. None other than my beloved son. 'Letterbox' as described by Auntie Ann.

And the baby (yang belum masuk school lagi).

Here's Aiman @ nenek's place (my ibu-didalam-undang2 ....). Apa tu ... mom-in-law lah... Btw ... rambut Aiman tu dah panjang ... kena pegi barber.

Weekend - Part One

As told earlier, I went to the FACON edu. fair @ PWTC with 2 bodyguards on tow. Not very happening at the level we're at (level 3). Seems like most people are attacking the 4th floor where overseas colleges are situated. Note the deserted booths. Not to forget it's almost Raya Haji, hence the crowd.

But there's this lil boy who seems so busy. Seems to be enjoying himself amidst the crowd.

Wants to check everything. Sampai bawah meja pun dia jenguk. (Apalah dia buat ni...)

Luckily my 2 colleagues doesn't seem to mind.

Nothing much to tell here. All in all, it's a good experience for me ... and my son. This was what he looked like @ the end of the day ..... Dah penat lari keliling semua booths & hubby had to chase after him.
